Breast Lift at WOOA
WOOA Plastic Surgery is in HM Tower, 492 Gangnam-daero, a short walk from Sinnonhyeon and Gangnam Stations.
Ageing, pregnancy and weight change can all leave the breasts lower and less firm. A WOOA breast lift lifts and reshapes them, moving the nipple and areola back to a balanced position for a lighter, more youthful contour that suits your body.

WHAT IS A BREAST LIFT?
A breast lift corrects sagging by removing stretched skin, reshaping the breast tissue and raising the nipple and areola. Sagging is more than a downward shift – it also changes nipple position, skin elasticity and how tissue is distributed – so WOOA plans around how the tissue is repositioned, not simply how much is removed. Implants or fat transfer can be added for extra fullness.
Incision Options for a Breast Lift
The incision is chosen according to how much the breasts have dropped: around the areola for mild sagging (often combined with implants), a vertical incision for moderate to severe sagging, and an inverted T incision for large, heavily sagging breasts that also need reducing.
Key Benefits of a WOOA Breast Lift
- A golden-ratio line, planned by measuring the upper and lower chest.
- Relief from everyday discomfort such as chafing or pain.
- A repositioned nipple and areola for a natural shape.
- Minimal scarring, with dermatology-led scar care.
How Is a Breast Lift Performed at WOOA?
- Examination: Mammogram and ultrasound check breast density and the internal condition of the breast before surgery.
- Incisions: Kept as small as possible and matched to the degree of sagging:
- Around the areola (periareolar).
- Around the areola and straight down (vertical).
- Around the areola, down and along the breast fold (inverted T).
- Reshaping: Excess skin and lower-breast tissue are removed and the nipple is moved higher, using Full HD endoscopy and careful dissection.
- Anesthesia: Managed by a board-certified anesthesiologist present throughout.
The result is a lifted, comfortable breast line designed around your proportions, with natural contours that are built to last.
Recovery After a Breast Lift
- First Weeks: Rest for the first 48 hours and avoid heavy lifting for 2–4 weeks; light walking from about two weeks.
- Support: Wear a support garment for about one month; avoid upper-body strength training for three months.
Who Is a Breast Lift For?
- Heavy Breasts: those with shoulder or back pain from very large breasts, or chafing beneath them.
- After Weight Loss: those whose breasts have dropped after losing weight quickly.
- After Childbirth: those dealing with sagging following pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- With Age: those whose breasts have gradually lowered over time.
FAQs
Will There Be Noticeable Scars?
Depending on the degree of sagging, WOOA uses an areolar, vertical or anchor (inverted T) incision. Scars fade over time and are placed to sit under underwear or swimwear, and WOOA Dermatology supports scar care.
Can a Breast Lift Also Add Volume?
A lift mainly corrects sagging and repositions tissue, so on its own it adds little volume. For more fullness it can be combined with:
- Breast Implants: for added firmness, shape and size.
- Fat Transfer: for a softer increase in volume using your own fat.
